Leaving Green Acre Organics

Today we are leaving Green Acre Organics after being here for 41 days. It has been an awesome time! I really like the fact that we are able to show up at “just the right time” for people in their time of need. Joe was incredible in his dedication and hard work in helping the girls get the greenhouse together. I am so proud of him! I am very glad and honored to be able to call Gina (Jihad Monkey) and Tonya (Re-Re) friends. The pictures below sum up the rest of our time here.

Jadyn kept herself busy making mud cakes and enjoying the fan blowing her hair.

She celebrated her fourth birthday here and one of her presents from her sister was a new bike. Now…..where are we going to fit that in the bus?? We’ll find a place. :)

Our last pictures together. It’s been great being with Gina and Tonya! They graciously opened their home to us and we’ve had a fun time here. I loved watching ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ and ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ with them and late night talks and sharing of knowledge. Awesomeness!

Winding It Up

Sorry it’s been so long since our last post – just busy, busy, busy. We are STILL waiting for an undamaged shipment of materials so the greenhouse can be completed. This company could have saved themselves lots of money if they would have done things right the first time. Anyway!

Joe’s been able to help get the micro system going and hopefully this week Jadyn and I can get some seeds started for it.

Also since our last post  we’ve had the pleasure of a visit from my oldest daughter. There was lots of fun playing in the pool and I was able to get her to drink a green smoothie, once. :o)

And we were able to watch Gina do some Parelli magic with horses.

Finally, here is Joe tuning up the Great White Buffalo to get her ready for our next trip – to Maryland. :o)

At least the engine compartment is roomy enough to work in.

What an oily mess!

I always thought my husband was slick, but this is a little much!  :o)

Until next time…….Happy Trails. :o)
