Wrapping It Up

We’ve had a lot of fun at the ranch here. We’ve made some good friends and have had lots of great experiences. Joe has one project left to do and if the weather cooperates then we should be leaving next week sometime. It’s been really cool getting to know the horses – each has their own personality, excuse me – I mean horsenality. We’ve grown fond of them and they of us – unless they are just fond of the carrots we bring them occasionally. :o)

Jadyn has become a real pro at leading the horses around and she loves to ride - horses, wheelbarrows, etc.

She likes to visit all the horses and being the curious girl that she is, she wondered what was in horse poop. Yep, that’s a picture of her digging around in poo.

Let’s see….what else has been going on here…..

We went to a friend of Ginny’s last weekend to get fresh eggs. That was pretty cool. She has a few different kinds, but the most interesting ones looked like they belonged in a rock band.

The local apple cider mill was pretty interesting. We looked at their pumpkins and the goodies inside, but didn’t go out back to see the animals or do the maze – the cost was a little too much.

These are the farm stands we like to go to every weekend for squash, apples, greens, peppers, broccoli, etc.
